Tiger, Tiger Burning bright...

12月中去了Ranthambore...同一天入園兩次，早上抽簽到3區,下午抽到4區，兩區內只看見老虎腳印。 五時多了，天色也轉暗了，正要離開保護區 的時候，保護區管理員：「．．三隻．．．母虎與兩小虎在保護區外的大路向寺廟方向走．．．」。

不到半點鐘的時間，４０吉普車把路倒塞了。 這麼吵鬧．．．正以為觀虎無望的時候．．． Machali,經驗老到的虎母親，為引開遊客對小虎的注意，她不慌不忙的從密林中行出來。 在數輛吉普車旁緩步而過，以輕視的目光，回饋那使用閃光燈愚蠢的遊客。 她緩緩的消失在另一邊的密林裏。

We visited Ranthambore in mid-December. We did the Zone 3 in the morning and the Zone 4 in the afternoon, but no TIGER was seen in these Zones inside the park... when our jeep were about to leave, we were told that a mother with two cubs were just walking across a public road near the enterance... within half an hour about 40 jeeps, big and small all lining up on the road hoping to see these beautiful creatures.

Machali, an experienced mother had to nothing but distracted the hungry tourists direction by getting out from the brushes and walking pass right next to more than 7 or 8 vehicles within metres. She gave a dismissive look to those brave (stupid) tourists who flashed her with their compact cameras.
